Day 1: Arrival at Katra

Your Vaishno Devi & Katra Pilgrimage Tour begins with your arrival at Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi temple. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the railway station or bus stand and transfer you to your hotel in Katra. Once you check in and settle in, take some time to rest and refresh after your journey. In the evening, you can explore the local markets of Katra, which are filled with spiritual shops selling religious artifacts, souvenirs, and offerings. The atmosphere is serene, and it’s an ideal time to absorb the peaceful ambiance. You can also enjoy some local snacks and delicacies in the markets.

Day 2: Vaishno Devi Darshan

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on your spiritual journey to the Vaishno Devi Temple, located on the Trikuta Mountains. The temple is one of the holiest and most visited pilgrimage destinations in India. The 13 km trek to the temple takes you through lush hills, providing you with a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Alternatively, you can opt for a pony ride if you prefer a more comfortable journey. As you reach the Vaishno Devi Temple, you will have the opportunity to seek blessings from Mata Vaishno Devi, the goddess who is believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees. After your darshan, you may also visit the nearby Bhairon Temple, an important stop that completes the pilgrimage.
After completing your darshan, return to Katra for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Visit Local Temples in Katra

On Day 3, after breakfast, you will visit the famous Ardh Kuwari Temple, which is located about 3.5 km from Katra. This cave temple is one of the holiest spots for pilgrims, as it is believed that Mata Vaishno Devi spent a significant period meditating here. The temple is a sacred place, and the cave offers a feeling of tranquility and connection with the divine. After visiting the Ardh Kuwari Temple, you will have some free time in the afternoon to explore more of Katra or relax at your hotel. You can visit other temples around the area or enjoy shopping in the local markets.

Day 4: Excursion to Patnitop

On Day 4, after breakfast, you will travel to Patnitop, a charming hill station located about 2 hours from Katra. Patnitop offers spectacular views of the Himalayas and is an excellent place to relax and enjoy nature. You can take a nature walk through its lush pine forests, visit Nag Mandir (a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva), or relax by the serene Shiv Garh Lake. Patnitop’s cool weather and serene environment make it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the pilgrimage. In the evening, you will return to Katra for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Leisure Day in Katra

Day 5 is a leisure day for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Katra at your own pace. After breakfast, you may visit the Banganga Temple, a small but sacred temple located around 2 km from the base of the Vaishno Devi Shrine. This temple holds great significance for pilgrims as it is believed that Mata Vaishno Devi created the Banganga river during her journey. If you wish, you can also take a second trip to the Vaishno Devi Shrine for another round of blessings. Alternatively, spend your day shopping for souvenirs, exploring local attractions, or simply relaxing at your hotel.

Day 6: Departure from Katra

On the final day of your pilgrimage tour, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. After checking out, our representative will transfer you to the Katra bus stand or railway station, where you will proceed with your onward journey. You will leave with spiritual memories and a deep sense of peace from your time spent in this sacred region.
